When the JLT clinic fits

The rapid 11-panel is an in-clinic urine service at Zen Medical Clinic DMCC, Unit F109, Red Diamond Building, JLT. It is listed at AED 399 with two GP consultations included.

Testing cycles begin at 11am and 2pm, with results expected by 3pm and 6pm respectively. Sample cut-offs and processing apply, so confirm your arrival and collection time when booking. The result time is not a testing window after exposure; these describe different things.

How a home urine kit works

For eligible panels, ZenDXB delivers a kit containing the collection materials. You follow the supplied instructions and arrange courier pickup with the team. The specimen is sent for laboratory testing; the kit itself does not give an instant result at home.

  1. Confirm the panel and collection instructions.
  2. Receive the kit and check its contents.
  3. Collect the sample as instructed.
  4. Confirm storage and arrange the agreed pickup.
  5. Review your results with the doctor.

When blood or another sample is needed

The 19- and 32-panel options combine urine with blood testing. Home urine collection does not remove the need for a blood sample. Blood can be collected in clinic; a home blood-collection visit can be arranged for an additional charge.

Some exposure sites may need different samples. CDC guidance notes that throat or rectal testing may be appropriate after oral or anal sex. Discuss the sample sites with your doctor rather than assuming that one urine specimen answers every question.

What to confirm before choosing

Ask about sample requirements, appointment or courier times, charges and how results will be communicated. Both service routes include doctor support. When medication is prescribed, the team can arrange delivery and confirm the relevant costs.
